Hey my name is Jesse. I’m the youngest. I just wanted to share something I’ve been thinking about lately. The other night my brother Josh, my sister Andrea’s boyfriend, and I were talking. One thing was brought up(I’ll tell you what that was later) And it made me think of how greedy we really are. Right away I thought of all the new software that is coming out. Here’s what I’m talking about: ipod, imac, itunes, iphone, igoogle, and all I think about when I here that is iwant, iwant, iwant, iwant, iwant. The only sound I here through all that is IIIII. It’s true. The thing my brother said was basically He can’t stand the American culture. I can see where he’s coming from. We are so spoiled. Some of us are picky on what they eat and we can almost have what ever we want and still we want more and more and more and more. While people in other countries are dying of starvation and disease. They probably would be satisfied to have just one peace of bread and we’re over here eating when we’re just a little bit hungry. One story I heard awhile ago was this one preacher came to America from Mexico, I think it was. After four days in America he wanted to go back to his home because we, as Americans, are so greedy and self centered. I also think of what Jesus said about th women that only gave, in our mature now it probably would be like giving a dollar. He said she gave more than any of thee because she gave everything she had. I think of us in the U.S. having a lot and giving a lot, but people in other countries not having a lot but giving their all. So that is what I’ve been thinking on for the last couple of days. Besides Green Bay winning their game.lol. Well I’ll talk later, bye.

hey everyone! i just want to give ya’ll a little update from mexico. we flew to mission texas a couple weeks ago and spent the night there and enjoyed the ac. on sunday we got ready to go to mexico. we were also with another church and they were from texas. their church was also Calvary Baptist also. any way crossing the border was so much fun. they were like you have to be all serious and so we got serious. on sunday night we were at the church and we sang int the evening service and the service went on for like 2 hrs. and then after that we had a 30th wedding celabration for a couple in the church. The next day we had vbs at the church and we had a great time. In the afternoons our church and the other church would switch off and on and we would do another vbs at someone’s house it was called the mission. so onmonday our church went and then on tuesday the other church would go, and so forth and so on. on wednesday 1 of the team members got sick and then it spread through out the whole group and i was the second one to get sick but i didn’t throw up. the wrong thing was that the other church non of them got sick. one nice thing is is that we didn’t have to do a lot of work that week at the church. the whole week i think that about 5 kids got saved. on monday the number of kids was about 100plus and the number grew every day after that. there is so much more but i am at a friends house and i need to go and take a shower so i am going to go and i will write more later.chow every one.
Is anything going on this Friday? When is Eunice coming home? Any plans?
I have to clarify a little of what Cherith stated in the last post. Cherith and I were part of “Lindsey Boehm’s team” for the American Heart Association Heart Walk downtown Greenville this last Saturday, March 17. Lindsey had a heart condition, and she walked in last years Heart Walk. November 7, 2006 she went to be with the Lord as her heart failed. In tribute to Lindsey, Tire Center, where her dad works, sponsored a team for Lindsey in the Heart Walk this year. I have no idea what Cherith was talking about in saying she was the only 8 year old. Lindsey was 5 years old when she passed away. In this year’s walk, we had people pushing babies in strollers. I don’t know if it is typical for people to walk with their children in strollers, but we had quite a few in our team with their children. I have some pictures on my blog if you want to see some pics from it.
hey everyone that is out there reading this. i thought that i would let you all know that i went to my first “date” last night. i went to an opera it was very fun. i had a great time and we took lots of pix. any way me and eunice are going to be doing a heart walk tomorrow for the heart association so that ought to be fun. it is three miles. the team we are walking for is for a little girl that died a couple of months ago. she did it last year and she realized the purpose of it. she had heart problems and she was only 8 years old. so that is what we are doing tomorrow. well mom has not had any falls since the tumble down the stairs so that is good. any way that is a little of what has been going on with me. enjoy. i love you andrea. if you read this.
